Le diéthylstilboestrol (DES) étant peu coûteux à fabriquer et libre de droit (son inventeur, Charles Dodds n’avait pas déposé de brevet), ce médicament a été commercialisé dans le monde entier sous des centaines de noms de marque différents.
Hors de France
Si la grossesse suspectée d’avoir fait l’objet d’une prescription de DES ou d’un œstrogène de synthèse s’est déroulée hors de France, vous pouvez avoir besoin des noms de marque utilisés à l’étranger.
